Unhappy Listeners getting disconnected from my Shoutcast servers with Flash Applet Player

Hello,

I have four Shoutcast Servers listed in the Playlist area for the Skinnable Flash MP3 Applet used on:

http://www.radiofreecolorado.net.

The Flash player itself can be loaded alone and used here:

http://www.radiofreecolorado.net/fla.../RFCskin2.html

For some reason, the player won't stay connected to any individual Shoutcast Server for more than 2 or 3 minutes. This is using Internet Explorer 8.

There were no issues before when I first installed the Flash MP3 Applet a few months ago.

However, I do know there have been two updates/changes to the Adobe Flash Player itself from Adobe since the time I first began using the Flash MP3 Applet. I have already downloaded and installed the newer Adobe Flash Player versions for Windows Vista. Adobe said the Flash Player updates were "necessary" for security vulnerability improvements.

I have NOT changed any of the original Flash MP3 Applet coding that I have been using since before the trouble began, all that code is the same from months ago.

I am wondering if now there is some change or update needed to be made to the Flash MP3 Applet code I am using to stop this annoying "connection drop" from happening? Listeners used to be able to stay connected to any of the four Shoutcast Servers listed in the Playlist for hours if they wanted. Now, their connection is dropped from the Shoutcast Server after only about 2-3 minutes.

The four Shoutcast Servers being used with the Flash MP3 Applet are:

http://216.155.131.182:80
http://67.212.189.124:80
http://208.99.81.102:8800
http://67.159.26.177:30726

I updated my Flash Player because of this notice from Adobe:

"According to Adobe security bulletins, Adobe Flash Player 10.0.42.34 fixes security problems. They say that critical vulnerabilities have been identified that could allow an attacker who successfully exploits these vulnerabilities to take control of the affected system."

Can someone try testing these Shoutcast Servers in your Skinnable Flash MP3 Applet to see if you are also getting disconnected from listening?

I know there is a problem, because there are Server Logs for the Shoutcast Servers I can check which show how many people are connected to the Shoutcast Servers using the Skinnable Flash MP3 Applet. The Server Logs show very few people connected using the Skinnable Flash MP3 Applet, whereas before there would be dozens of listeners on each Shoutcast Server connected using the Skinnable Flash MP3 Applet to listen.

The Shoutcast Server Logs also show how long each listener using the Skinnable Flash MP3 Applet is connected in minutes. Before there were people connected for hours per listening session, and now there are not.

This is a major issue for me. There are over 100 fewer listeners now to the Shoutcast Servers for Radio Free Colorado.

The reason I am using the Skinnable Flash MP3 Applet on the Radio Free Colorado website is so that persons in Office work environments using computers with no MP3 player software installed can listen. Also, if they are not allowed to install any software on their computers, or they are behind a Corporate Firewall, they can listen to Radio Free Colorado if the Skinnable Flash MP3 Applet is working.

Is there an Admin, or the Developer of this Skinnable Flash MP3 Applet or other knowledgable person that can help me with this issue?

Thank you,

Gary
