I took a couple of days off and came up with the spanish translation of OsDate a 1 RC5. You can download it from the Code Depot.
I havent't had the chance to test it fully, if you find a bug or misspelling, please let me know.

Haber si lo he hecho bien: Ya he descomprimido el zip y subido la carpeta lang_spanish al servidor dentro de la carpeta language. Luego modifico el config.php y pongo:

There seems to be no way of changing the DEFAULT LANGUAGE to anything other than ENGLISH. I am trying to change the Default language to Spanish. I changed the following in config.php but it didn't work. I keep getting the site in English when it first loads.

When you're installing osDate for the first time there is an option to setup the defaults when you go to install, this can be found in your install_files folder, there is a file called step_2.php.

In there you will find these options :

$langtypeValues = array( 'lang_english','lang_german','lang_dutch','lang_sp anish','lang_russian','lang_french');
$langtypeNames = array( 'English', 'German', 'Dutch', 'Spanish', 'Russian', 'French' );

Changing the options above will reflect how your osDate is installed, and if you have added any other languages, you will find that changing them above will help.

So changing this :

to

$langType = 'lang_spanish';

Will fix your issue.
