Problem Editing Ticker data

I am opening up the config file & changing the text for the feed but it is not updating the ticker? Any ideas on what could be the problem?

The XML file is probably being cached. Try clearing your browser cache.

This seems to be common problem and refreshing browser does not help.

The XML file is probably being cached in this case. I suspect that the cache isn't being completely cleared.

Yes, I figured that, but what can be done to get a work around for that since having a ticker that shows the same news always is not effective.
