Portfolio

I realize this has been covered, but can i just someone give me a quick rundown as to the steps that have to be taken to place(embed) the Andre portfolio into my .tpl file. Ive had success with the Andre Xml feed...but i must be doing something wrong with the portfolio.
A step by step answer would be nice. Cheers.
